Peace, Stability, Development In Nepal In The Interest Of China

December 24, 2013: speaking to reporters in Kathmandu yesterday, Deputy Director General of international department of central committee of Communist Party of China Rao Huihna has said that the kind of federalism and constitution in Nepal is the choice of the Nepalis; she also has made it clear that the Communist Party of China, the Chinese government and the people heartily wished for peace, stability and development in Nepal, according to the news on ‘gorkhapatraonline.com’.

 

Referring to the many political changes happened in Nepal recently, Rao said, "China, as a friendly neighbor of Nepal, would extend support and cooperation in the Nepali people's choice."

 

"The friendly relations between the two countries is based on mutual interests, development and cooperation; a way out of from the present problem would be possible through consensus of all the parties as their sincere wish is to attain political stability, development and improvements in the livelihood," he said.

 

Reiterating that China has always respected Nepal's independence and sovereignty, he said it has however not played any role in the political process.
