CPN-UML Leader KP Oli Blesses Mahesh Basnet For Protecting Criminal

June 27, 2011: upon arrival at the international airport in Kathmandu on Saturday, June 25, 2011, speaking to the reporters, CPN-UML Leader KP Oli has blessed the chief of Youth Association of Nepal (YAN) Mahesh Basnet for protecting Parshuram Basnet allegedly involved in the deadly assault on the reporter Khilnath Dhakal in Biratnager, ‘Gorkhapatra’ of today writes.
Mr. Oli has appreciated Mahesh Basnet for protecting Parshuram Basnet and challenging the administration to arrest Parshuram Basnet, and has awarded Mahesh Basnet the title of ‘true cadre of the CPN-UML’. Reporters across Nepal have protested the protection of criminals by the political leaders and have asked whether Mr. Oli is a political leader or a gangster leader.
