May 12, 2011: speaking at the Reporters’ Club, one of the vice-chairmen of UCPN-Maoist Mohan Vaidya ‘Kiran’ has said that his party is for first promulgating a new constitution and then only the integration of the People’s Liberation Army (PLA) and the Nepal Army, as the promulgation of a new constitution needs to be guaranteed following the aspirations of the Nepalese people, ‘The Rising Nepal’ of today reports. The powerful vice-chairman is not in a mood to compromise with anybody on anything except on the promulgation of a new constitution.
Most of the political leaders without the followers have been telling the people that they want first the integration of the PLA and the Nepal Army before promulgating a new constitution.
