Presentation Of Working Papers At Plenum

November 23, 2010: Vice-Chairman Mohan Vaidya Kiran and Dr. Baburam Bhattarai have presented their papers at the sixth plenum held in Palungtar of the Gorkha district on Monday, November 22, 2010.
Talking to the reporters after the close session, spokesperson for the UCPN-Maoist Dinanath Sharma has said that the documents presented by the two Vice-chairmen have more similarities than differences saying Dr Bhattarai has focused on the completion of peace and constitution writing processes while Kiran has highlighted the party’s organizational structure, and focused on the need for a strong tactical line and ways to strengthen nationality; the main difference between the two chairmen is their perception of the main foe of the party: Dr Bhattarai says the domestic reactionaries are the main foes whereas Kiran says the combination of domestic reactionaries and expansionist Indian ruling class is the main foe ‘The Rising Nepal’ of November 23, 2010 writes.
