Nepalese Political Leaders Talking To Each Other

December 23, 2013: leaders of NC and CPN-UML, and leaders of NC and UCPN-Maoist have separately held talks yesterday to break the current political deadlock.
NC and CPN-UML held talks at the Maharajgun residence of NC President Sushil Koirala yesterday, and have agreed on submitting the lists of the nominees for the proportional representation to the Election Commission, according to the RSS news in the ’gorkhapatra’ of today.
NC and UCPN-Maoist leaders held talks yesterday, and agreed on crating a new constitution within a year. However, UCPN-Maoist has not agreed on submitting a list of the nominees for the proportional representation until a high-level commission on probing into the flaws in the election process was set up.
