He said that visiting India after finding an outlet to the crisis would give a positive message, according to the news posted on the nepalnews.com today. Opening the 10th Annual General Meeting of the Confederation of Nepalese Industries (CNI) in Kathmandu today, Prime Minister Dr Baburam Bhattarai said that the Constituent Assembly ended, as political leaders could not forge a consensus on the federalism with identity; however, he was convinced that the political parties would reach a consensus as every bit of effort is being made to find a political way out, with a target to hold the Constituent Assembly elections in mid-May 2013, according to the RSS news.

At the meeting of the office-bearers of UCPN-Maoist held in Kathmandu today, leaders failed in taking any concrete decision on the formation of a national unity government. “The meeting decided to intensify efforts for consensus by the party and government,” Maoist leader and Finance Minister Barshaman Pun said. “Meeting ended with a conclusion that UCPN-Maoist is committed to holding the fresh CA polls in April/May through a package deal and taking up the ownership of the agreements that the dissolved CA made during its term,” Pun added, according to the news posted on THT ONLINE today.
