Don’t Make Any Major Decision, NC Says to Government

June 7, 2011: in the meeting of The Central Working Committee held at the party office Sanepa in Kathmandu yesterday, NC leaders have made a decision on warning the current government of not taking any decisions without consulting the main opposition, ‘The Rising Nepal’ of today writes.

Stating the status of the current government has been reduced to a caretaker after the endorsement of the five-point deal the UCPN-Maoist, NC and CPN-UML reached on May 29, 2011 by the parliament, the NC leaders have said that the government should not make any decisions on such matters such as transfer of budgets from one heading to another and political appointments.

Recently, the government has decided to make political appointments to fill up the vacant positions, and transfer of police and other state employees from one place to another.
