UK Minister Alan Duncan in Nepal

May 27, 2010: Openly-gay UK Minister Alan Duncan has arrived in Nepal for a two-day visit. While in Nepal he will familiarize with the development programs launched through the Department for International Development (DFID), and offer support for completing the peace process.

He will meet with Prime Minister, ministers and political leaders to understand the real political situation in Nepal and offer the support for breaking the current political deadlock and then for writing a new constitution.

Minister Duncan has chosen Nepal for his first overseas visit as a minister thus giving Nepal the priority.
