Nepal And Qatar Signed Off Deals

October 12, 2011: following the official talks held between HH the Emir Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa al-Thani and Nepalese President Dr Ram Baran Yadav at the Emiri Diwan in Doha yesterday, Qatar and Nepal have signed off two agreements to boost bilateral relations according to the news posted on Gulf-times.com.

The two sides have reviewed co-operation between the two countries and ascertained the means of enhancing and promoting the cooperation on all fields; in addition, both sides have taken up the regional and international issues of mutual concern.

Later the Emir hosted a luncheon banquet in honor of the Nepalese president and the accompanying delegation.

Later in the evening, the Nepalese president has interacted with the Board Chairman of Hassad Food Company Nasser bin Mohamed al-Fuhaid al-Hajiri. Nasser al-Hajiri has said that they have discussed the prospects of investment in Nepal.
