Nepal To Train Indian Army officers

April 28, 2012: during the ninth meeting of Nepal-India Bilateral Consultative Group on Security Issues that concluded in Pokhara in western Nepal yesterday, Nepal has offered India to train Indian Army officers for taking the jobs of the United Nations peacekeeping operations under various international assignments the zeenews.India.com reported quoting the Xinhua news agency.
The Nepal Army (NA) has two training centers exclusively for peacekeepers and an integrated training center: one in Pachkal and another in Saljhandi. Nepalese Army has a long history of association with the UN peacekeeping force.
India is one of the largest contributors to United Nations peacekeeping efforts across the globe.
