Forming A New Consensual Cabinet On Saturday

May 5, 2012: UCPN-Maoist is sending the same fellows such as Narayan Kaji Shrestha, Post Bahadur Bogati, Barshaman Pun, Top Bahadur Rayamajhi and Dina Nath Sharma to join the new consensual cabinet headed by Prime Minister Dr. Baburam Bhattarai; the Mohan Baidya faction of the party chose to remain aloof from joining the government.
NC is sending its General Secretary Krishna Prasad Sitaula and its member Surya Man Gurung to join the Bhattarai government. The Sher Bahadur Deuba faction of NC refused to join the consensual government.
CPN-UML has not named its members to join the new cabinet, yet but it is sure to do so by Sunday. KP Oli had declared that his party CPN-UML would not join the new consensual government stating it is a majority government not a consensus one.
UDMF has chosen five of its members such Bijaya Gacchedar, Mahendra Yadav, Raj Kishor Yadav, Rajendra Mahato and Hridayesh Tripathi for joining the new cabinet. Most probably, all of them would hold their previous ministerial portfolios.
