Nepal Army Killed Innocent Man in Chitwan Park
BY KTM Metro Reporter in Kathmandu
December 1, 2009: the Nepal Army patrol has killed an innocent man in the Chitwan park alleging him a smuggler of timber on November 28, 2009. Even if the man has been guilty of smuggling the timber from the Chitwan Park, the crime is not so much that warrants the army to kill him on the spot. The army has been killing innocent Nepalis with impunity in the past and has continued to do so even now, too.
Nepalese people will accused the current government of not protecting innocent people but letting the army of killing with impunity if Prime Minister Madhav Nepal and his Defense Minister do not act immediately to punish the army personnel responsible for killing the innocent man. Nobody has right to kill anybody. The army could arrest him and take legal actions if the man has acted illegally but not to kill man for anything.
