Eccentric Minister Matrika Yadav

On March 18, 2008, Minister for Forest and Soil Conservation Matrika Yadav of the Government of Nepal has said that he has sent back the security personnel deputed for his security according to the state-run newspaper “The Rising Nepal” of March 19, 2008. 'I have told the security personnel today to get away from their quarter inside the Minister's residence as they did not give company to him in his visit to districts', Minister Yadav said. What is the use of security personnel who could not provide security in need, he questioned, adding 'I will make arrangement of my security myself. Minister Yadav also has said that he has requested the United Nations Mission in Nepal (UNMIN) to make arrangement to depute People's Liberation Army (PLA) for his security. His behavior had been anomalous in the past, too.
