Federalism With Ethnic Identity Is A Must

Speaking at the first national gathering of the Terai Madhes Democratic Teachers' Union in Birgunj yesterday, Chairman of Terai Madhes Democratic Party (TMDP) Mahantha Thakur said that a federal constitution with the provision for the social diversity, inclusion and civil political culture was essential for sovereignty, dignity and identity of all the Nepalis; so, federalism recognizing the identity of one and all, their culture, religion and language and ensure freedom of all citizens was essential, according to the RSS news posted on thehimalayanties.com.
