Jagatguru Kripalu Passed Away At 92

November 19, 2013: Jagatguru Kripalu passed away at 92 in Allahabad, India on Friday, November 15, 2013, according to the news in the ‘gorkhapatra’ of today. He was born as Ram Kripalu Tripathi in Allahabad in 1902.

 

The Kashi Vidota Council has awarded him the title of jagatguru for his knowledge in the teachings of the Veda in 1935. He was only 34 years of age at that time. Since then he has been disseminating the guruto (teachings).

 

One of his Nepalese disciples Swami Haridass has said that only his physical body has gone but his guruto will never die. Swami Haridass has been discoursing on the teachings of Jagatguru Kripalu in Nepal.

 

Followers of Jagatguru Kripalu have built a center at Hanumante in Bhaktapur. Every Saturday, followers assembled at the center, and they hold ‘bhajan’. Followers greet each other with ‘radhe radhe’. They believe Kripalu is the real incarnation of Lord Krishna.
