Pakistan Desires To Boost Ties With Nepal: Zardari

ISLAMABAD, Feb 4 (APP): President Asif Ali Zardari has said Pakistan is desirous of strengthening the already existing bilateral relations with Nepal and through continued cooperation the two countries can work together for the mutual benefit of their people. In a message of felicitation to Prime Minister of Nepal Jhala Nath Khanal, he said, “on behalf of the government and people of Pakistan and on my own behalf I wish to extend my heartiest felicitations to you on your election as Prime Minister of Nepal which is reflective of the trust and confidence that the nation has reposed in your leadership.”

He said Pakistan and Nepal enjoy close and cordial relations. “Our nations share the same aspirations and hopes for regional peace and stability as well as progress and well being of the people.”

“Please accept, Excellency my best wishes for your personal health and for the continued progress and well being of the people of Nepal,” he added.
