Foreign Force Meddling In Nepalese Affairs

June 10, 2010: Chairman of UCPN-Maoist Prachanda accompanied by wife Sita, son Prakash and senior Maoist leader and legislator Agni Prasad Sapkota went to a resort area called Kakani in the Sindhupalchwok for rest and recuperate. He spent a Sunday night June 6, 2010 there.

On Monday, June 07, 2010, speaking to the reporters in Sindhupalchwok, Chairman Prachanda has said that a foreign force has been meddling in the internal affairs of Nepal causing delay in breaking the current political deadlock. However, he did not specify the foreign force apparently the southern neighbor.

He has spent a Monday night at a resort hotel in Khava of the Kavre district. Interacting with the political cadres there, he has said that believing the Nepalese Maoists are anti-India force; India has been causing problems to his party.

On June 09, 2010, Former Indian Ambassador to Nepal K.V. Rajan has said that the allegation of India interfering in Nepal is not true. "India never gives importance to which party forms the government or who becomes prime minister in Nepal, India has its own problems to take care of," the state-run newspaper ‘The Rising Nepal’ of June 10, 2010 quoted him
