By KTM Metro Reporter

February 21, 2011: people have been rising against the dictatorship elsewhere in the world from China to the Middle East. Chinese authorities have been able to keep the protestors under their thumb but how long remains to be seen.

Libyan dictator Gaddafi has lost more than half of this people to the opposition. One diplomat after another has taken the side of the protestors. Soldiers have refused to fire shots at the protestors.

Different media reports have it that Gaddafi has fled the country and is on the way to Venezuela. However, early today morning, Gaddafi has appeared on the state TV to show he is still in Libya. Gaddafi is surely on the way to exit. Libyans have been determined to force him out of office. They are not afraid of death. No matter how many people he will kill, people will not let him continue to rule the country anymore.

Protestors have continued to put pressure on the monarchy in Baharain. They have continued rallying against the king despite so many people have been killed by the king’s soldiers. They are not going to settle less than democracy, and fundamental human rights.

Tunisians have continued to rally to put pressure on the ruling people not to deviate from institutionalizing the rule of law, democracy and fundamental human rights.

The military rulers have taken time to lift a state of emergency and the ban on registering political parties in Egypt, to amend the constitution, and then hold general elections. However, they have said that they will do it. People need to put pressure on the military junta. The state prosecutors have requested all concerned to freeze the assets of Hosni Mubarak elsewhere in the world.
