Chitwan District Administration Acquits Paras Shah With warning

Issue 18, May 01, 2011

By KTM metro Reporter

April 28, 2011: The Chitwan District Administration has found that former crown prince Paras Shah has fired on Rubel Chaudhary: Bangladeshi national and the son-in-law of former Deputy Prime Minister Sujata Koirala of Nepal in anger after the hot discussion they had had at the Resort in Chitwan.

Mr. Shah was famous for his hot temper and often losing it. Previously, he was known for harassing anybody he did not like with impunity. This time, the Nepal Police did not let him fire at Rubel with impunity thanks to the pressure put on the administration and the police by the President of the Nepali Congress Sushil Koirala and the then-Deputy Prime Minister Sujata Koirala: mother-in-law of Rubel.

The Nepalese media have widely reported that Rubel has been involved in various illegal activities but his strong and famous mother-in-law has been covering up all his irregular activities in Nepal.

Following the Clause 6 (2) of the Public Offense Act of 1969, the Chitwan District Administration has acquitted Mr. Shah after he has given in writing that he would never repeat again such criminal act in the future.
