President Yadav Back Home From Japan After Health Checkup

June 29, 2013: President Dr Ram Baran Yadav returned home yesterday after the health checkup at the Tokyo Teaching Hospital in Japan. President Yadav had left Kathmandu on June 17, 2013 for Japan for health checkup on the recommendation of the Nepal Medical Board and at the cost of the State. After the thorough examinations, the hospital gave the president clean chit. President is healthy and he could work normally.
Upon arrival at the international airport in Kathmandu, President Yadav said that the elections to a new CA should be held with the participation of all political parties; holding of the elections is to institutionalize the federal republic of Nepal; so, all eligible Nepalis need to participate in the elections.
The CPN-Maoist-Vaidhya has been adamant that it is not going to participate in the elections, and it would not allow the elections to be held. However, Chairman Vaidhya said that the central committee of his party had not decided to boycott the elections, yet, giving some hope of his party participating in the elections.
