Neighbors Anticipate Nepalis Craft A Constitution

December 24, 2013: speaking at the event held by the Reporters’ Club in Kathmandu yesterday, Vice-chairman of Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) Bhagatsing Kosiyari said that he anticipated that Nepalis would craft a new constitution, and would make a constitution suitable to them. He also said that Nepal would not be a Hindu state, as some Indian leaders might wish for, according to the news in ‘gorkhapatra’ of today.
One of the senior members of the delegation led by Ai Ping to Nepal said that the political situation in Nepal has been developing in the right direction. She has got this impression after talking to the leaders of the various political parties in Nepal. She also said that China as a neighbor could suggest what sorts of federalism and constitution Nepal should have but could not dictate Nepal, according to the news in ‘gorkhaaptra’ of today.
