State Agencies Ignore Court Orders

The Supreme Court of Nepal is going to call the secretaries to various ministries to discuss the reasons for not enforcing the court orders according to the State-owned and private media in Nepal.
The Office of Prime Minister has ignored 49 court orders whereas the Ministry of Law, Justice and Parliamentary Affairs 29, Ministry of Science and Technology 16, Ministry of Local Development 12, Home Ministry 11 and Ministry of Housing and Physical Planning 5.
Current Prime Minister Girija Prasad Koirala of the caretaker government has probably broken the records of all Prime Ministers of the past in ignoring the court orders.
