Giving Credit To CPN-Maoist/CPN-UML For Deteriorating Business
By KTM Metro Reporter
October 5, 2012: credit has been due to the CPN-Maoist leaders and cadres for successfully blocking the Indian-owned vehicles, Hindi movies and Indian songs in Nepal, and to the CPN-UML for holding a mass rally in Kathmandu causing tremendous traffic jam blocking every possible business at the core of Kathmandu today. CPN-UML must have spent millions of illegally accumulated rupees on bringing such a large number of cadres to Kathmandu only to disrupt the business of the common folks to show the muscle of the CPN-UML leaders. Kudos to Chairmen such as Jhalanath Khanal and Mohan Vaidhya.
Banning Indian vehicles running in Nepal, CPN-Maoist leaders have successfully blocked the Indian pilgrims coming to the most holy place: Jannakpur in Nepal. The bravery shown by the CPN-Maoist leaders has not only denied the access to the holy place to the Indian pilgrims but also denied the regular business to Nepalese businesspersons causing financial hardship to the small businesspersons that have been thriving on the pilgrims visiting the holy places in Janakpur. The irony is that banning the Indian vehicles running in Nepal, the party called CPN-Maoist of proletariats has sent the proletariats out of the regular business causing their families to starve.
The tourists passing through the Nepal-India border to Bhairahawa in Nepal per day is about 2,000 per day but this figure fell by 95 per cent after the CPN-Maoist enforced the ban on the Indian vehicles running in Nepal, HNS quotes first vice-president of Siddhartha Hotel Association Nepal (SHAN) CP Shrestha as saying. The CPN-Maoist’s ban on Indian vehicles might also affect the peak tourist season, Shrestha said.
In a statement issued yesterday, the Federation of Nepal Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FNCCI) condemned the CPN-Maoist banning the Hindi movies showing in Nepal, as it would cause huge losses to cinema-hall operators while many other directly or indirectly involved in the business will lose earning with the closure of cinema halls; so, the federation directed its member associations related to cinema business resume the display of Hindi films in Nepal, according to nepalnews.com.
Today the CPN-UML leaders have paraded a large number of its cadres on the streets of Kathmandu blocking the vehicles traffic causing the untold misery to the commuters and huge loss of business. Thus, the failed leaders of CPN-UML as the CPN-Maoist leaders have demonstrated their bravery making tremendous troubles to the people at the tremendous cost hard to imagine.
