SUV Caravan From Lhasa to Katmandu

March 30, 2011: a caravan of twelve gasoline-powered Jonway ZAP A380 SUVs is set to drive through the Himalaya Mountains in three days from Lhasa, Tibet to Katmandu, Nepal starting on April 1, 2011 according to the news posted on chinasuv4x4.com.

The 12-vehicle caravan is to cross the Himalayas traveling from Lhasa to Katmandu in around three days, and will continuing touring mountain tracks through Nepal for another five days. Forty-four journalists will be traveling with it. This is the record-setting attempt to cross the mountains in just three days with 12 SUVs.

Riders of the caravan of 12-SUVs and 44 journalists will enjoy the breathtaking beauty of the Himalayas and will experience the challenging ride in the high mountains. The journey will be videotaped and posted on the website for everybody to enjoy it. This event will prove Jonway's A380's sturdiness and robustness while delivering true SUV performance and endurance.
