Small And Cottage Industries Rising In Dang

December 13, 2013: the Office of the Cottage and Small Industry in Dang says that a number of small and cottage industries has increased in the district in recent days. Dang has a total of 2,356 small and cottage industries running so far. Chief of the Office Hari Prasad Pandey said that around Rs. 7.29 billion had been invested in the industries, according to the RSS news on ‘gorkhapatraonline.com’.
Office Chief Pandey has said that as many as 13,888 jobs have been created in the industries. People started off investing in the district as the district has favorable physical infrastructures as compared to other neighboring districts and has sufficient raw materials.
The grinding mills attracted the highest investment in the district. The statistics of the office says that 616 grinding mills are running at the investment of Rs. 351.3 millions.
