Decisions Of Council Of Ministers

December 13, 2013: a meeting of the Interim Election Council of Ministers held at its secretariat in Kathmandu yesterday, it has deiced to give the government’s guarantee to the Provident Fund, and the Civic Investment Fund for providing Nepal Oil Corporation with the loans of Rs 850 millions and Rs 800 millions respectively, according to the news in the ‘gorkhapatra’ of today.
Other decisions made are to set up a seven-member-talks team to talk to the Asian Development Bank for securing Rs 2.42 billions additional funding for the Melamchi Drinking Water project; to accept the grant amount of Rs 7.26 billions to be provided by the Denmark Government for the Inclusive Growth Program; to accept the grant amount of Rs 3.60 billions to be provided by the Denmark Government for the Peace, Human Rights and Good Governance program-IV; to accept the grant amount of Rs 11.21 billions to be provided by the UK Government for the Local Governance and Community Development Program-II.
