By KTM Metro Reporter

July 12, 2013: at its meeting held yesterday, the Interim Election Council of Ministers (IECM) has decided to dissolve the Livestock Feed Production Board in Hetauda and to retire the staffs and workers paying them all sorts of benefits including gratuity, according to the news in ‘gorkhapatra’ of today.

The IECM also has decided to lease all the assets including the land of the Livestock Feed Production Board to the Dairy Development Corporation for 25 years. Dairy Development Corporation is a state-run dairy company.

The government set up the Livestock Feed Production Board in 1965 with the capacity of producing two tons of feed per hour but before stopping the production, it had been producing three tons per day for some years. All the machinery and equipment have been disabled since 2010, according to the news.
