New Recruits of Nepal Army

A few advocates had filed a case against the new recruits of the Nepal Army making the Prime Minister, Defense Minister and the Nepal Army defendants stating it went against the Interim Constitution of Nepal of 2007 and the Comprehensive Peace Agreement the Government of Nepal has with the Maoists. Responding to the case the Supreme Court of Nepal sought explanations from the Prime Minister, Defense Minister and the Nepal Army.
In view of the process of the new recruits of the Nepal Army has already reached the final stage and the selected new recruits have been sent for training, the offices of the Prime Minister, Defense Minister and the Nepal Army have agreed to go for the new recruits according to the news of the state-run radio called Radio Nepal on March 2, 2009.
