Prachanda Blames Big Media Houses

On December 4, 2007, speaking at the workshop on media freedom held by the Federation of Nepalese Journalist (FNJ), Chairman Prachanda of Communist Party of Nepal-Maoist, said that the Nepalese media particularly the big media with a large circulation have been circulating incorrect news about his party for fear of his party coming to power and losing their business. He charged them of over blowing the trivial matters of his party into sensational news.
