Trillion Dollar Worth Of Minerals Discovered In Afghanistan

June 14, 2010: US geologists have discovered trillion dollar worth of previously unknown deposits of iron, copper, cobalt, gold and lithium in Afghanistan according to the New York Times web news.
The vast mineral deposits might change the economy of Afghanistan for better if the government of Afghanistan could wisely manage the newly found wealth properly. Afghans would not need to cultivate puppies for living; and lives of Afghan people would be drastically improved if the government uses the resources for the welfare of the people.
