Bhaktapur Municipality Made Rs. 173.7 million From The Entrance Fee Collection

July 19, 2013: The Bhaktapur Municipality has collected Rs. 11.1 million as the entrance fees from the tourists coming from the SAARC countries including China while it has collected Rs. 162.6 million from those out of the SAARC countries, as reported by the Information Centre at the Municipality, according to the RSS news posted on ‘gorkhapatraonline.com.’

 

Bhaktapur has recorded the highest number of tourists first ever visited the district so far. As many as 258,244 tourists have visited the district in the Fiscal Year 2012 in comparison to the 232,338 tourists visited in the FY 2011. The rise in the tourists is 11 per cent.

 

Among the visitors were the highest from the SAARC countries. The second highest visitors were from India in the last fiscal year.
