Chairman Of IECM Regmi Flying To New York Tonight

September 26, 2013: Chairperson of Interim Election Council of Ministers (IECM) Khilraj Regmi is flying to New York tonight to attend the 68th UN General Assembly. He is heading a team of Nepalese team to the UN. Chairman Regmi will address the UN General Assembly on September 28. He is coming back to Nepal on September 30, 2013
On the sidelines of the UN General Assembly, Chairman Regmi will separately met with Secretary General Ban-ki Moon, and Indian Prime Minster Manmohan Singh; Chairman Regmi also will interact with the Nepalis in New York, according to the news in the ‘gorkhapatra’ of today.
Chairman Regmi will have a home environment even in New York, as his spouse is accompanying him. Unfortunately, the visit is quite short otherwise they will have a honeymoon trip on the occasion of the celebration of five decades of marriage. Certainly, the government will foot the bills of Chairman Regmi and his spouse from the tax money.
