Wow! President Goes To Meet With Bijukchhe

Issue 49, December 6, 2009

BY KTM Metro Reporter in Kathmandu

On December 2, 2009, President Dr. Ram Baran Yadav went to meet with the Chairman of Nepal Workers’ And Peasants’ Party Narayan Man Bijukchhe at his residence in Bhaktapur. Most probably, the President wants to learn some political mantras from Chairman Bijukchhe.

Chairman Bijukchhe has been the strong supporter of the unconstitutional move of the President on directly writing a letter to the army chief abusing the Interim Constitution of Nepal of 2007; in addition, he has suggested holding elections for a new legislature to break the current political deadlock. Chairman Bijukchhe has been speaking as if he has been above all laws and the constitution.

So, Chairman Bijukchhe is the most appropriate man to meet for the President for covering up his political felony and prove his undemocratic action as a democratic one although Chairman Bijukchhe is the leader of three legislators and has been losing his grip even in his fortress: Bhaktapur.
