Nepal Police Arrest Two Tibetan Leaders In Exile

October 18, 2011: the Nepal Police have arrested Thinley Lama: the current volunteer coordinator for welfare activities for Tibetan refugees in Nepal and Thinley Gyatso from the Tibetan Refugee Welfare Office yesterday: one day before the first 4-day protest rallies to be held in New Delhi starting Tuesday to draw the international attention on the growing self-immolation protests in Tibet according to the news posted on voanews.com.
Following the one-China policy means accepting Tibet and Twain as the integral parts of the People’s Republic of China, the government of Nepal has been grossly violating the fundamental human rights of the Tibetan exiles in Nepal. The Nepal Police have been arresting the Tibetans attempting on staging peaceful protests against the Chinese occupation of their mother land, stopping them from voting for their government in exile and arresting Tibetan exiles without any obvious reasons.
