Dying On the Way Down From The Everest

May 22, 2012: Sixty-one-year-old German climber Eberhard Schaaf: a medical doctor by profession died at the South Summit of Mount Everest (Sagarmatha) due to the altitude sickness. He climbed with the Eco Everest Expedition to remove rubbish from the mountain died on Saturday along the normal Southeast Ridge Route on the 8,848-metre peak according to the officials of the Tourism Industry Division.

A 32-year-old Nepal-origin Canadian woman Shriya Shah, and a Korean woman Song Won-Bin also lost their lives on the way down from the summit according to the news posted on ‘The Rising Nepal’. Ha Wenyi of China also died on the way down the summit.

A number of climbers have been waiting for the favorable weather to climb up the Everest at the different levels. When the climbers waiting for the good weather attempt on climbing they cause traffic jam putting their lives at risk.
