Nepal To Participate In International Carpet Exhibition In Germany
January 9, 2014: Nepal is attending the International Carpet Exhibition to be held in Hannover, Germany during January 11 to 14, 2014, according to the RSS news on ‘goprkhapatraonline.com’.
The Nepali delegation comprising some 30 carpet exporters led by President of Nepal Carpet Exporters' Association Anup Bahadur Malla is taking part in the exhibition.
Association of Business and Trade, and Export Promotion Center of Nepal are jointly holding a Nepal evening during the exhibition in Germany.
The event is an important opportunity for Nepal to promote its handmade carpet in Europe. Recently, the carpet export has been increased by 46 percent.
Secretary at the Ministry of Commerce and Supplies Madhav Prasad Regmi also is attending the event, and will address the event.
