Rs 320 million for transporting food grain

Nepal Food Corporation (NFC) has requested the Government of Nepal for providing it with the subsidy of Rs 320 million on transporting food grain to 18-food deficit districts in the far and mid western Nepal according the Nepalese press. NFC has a special plan on transporting food grain to the food-deficit areas. It would use both the ground and aerial transport systems to reach out the food deficit areas as soon as possible. Ministry of Industry, Commerce and Supplies forwarded the request of the NFC to the Ministry of Finance for approval.
