CPN-Maoist For Talking To Four-party Alliance

September 30, 2013: in a statement released yesterday, Dev Gurung said that at the meeting of the 33-party front including the CPN-Maoist held at the central office of the CPN-Maoist in Kathmandu yesterday, the front has decided to hold the talks with the four-party political mechanism again to resolve the prevailing crisis in the Nepalese politics, according to the news in the ‘gorkhapatra’ of today.

 

In a statement, the attention to the use of the Nepal Army for holding the elections is also drawn. The statement also said that all political parties needed to take the prevailing political situation in the country seriously, and build a consensus of all political parties on the political issues.

 

Speaking to the reporters at the Biratnager airport yesterday, chairman of UCPN-Maoist Prachanda has said that the CPN-Maoist would take part in the elections under the UCPN-Maoist, as the CPN-Maoist is still the part of the UCPN-Maoist.

 

Leader of UCPN-Maoist Narayankaji Shrestha has been brokering the negotiation with the CPN-Maoist on the CPN-Maoist taking part in the elections. Chairman of CPN-Maoist Mohan Vaidhya has been talking to the leaders of the NC and CPN-UML, and of the UCPN-Maoist on phone, according to the news on the ‘gorkhapatra’ of today.
