Opening An Industrial Festival In Kavre

February 20, 2012: opening the Kavre Industrial Festival held by the Kavre Chamber of Commerce and Industry at Janagal in Kavre yesterday, President Dr Rambaran Yadav has said that the national integrity should be maintained while taking the nation to the federal structure; all Nepalis should first identify as the people of Nepal where the Lord Buddha was born and the Mount Everest is located only then they should identify as Himalis, Pahadis and Madheshis, the state news agency ‘RSS’ reports. The President also has stressed the need for maintaining the identity of all castes, communities and religion and culture while restructuring the State.
Concerning the remarks of some of the incumbent ministers and the political leaders that hinted at breaking up political ties, the President has said that he has been concerned with such remarks very much, and urged them not to repeat such remarks in the future.
The President also has suggested that the political parties work together to complete the peace process and the constitution drafting process as scheduled, as promotion of foreign investment and development of the industrial sector is possible only after the completion of the peace and constitution drafting even though the Government of Nepal has already announced the year 2012 as the 'Investment Year'.
