Economic Revolution With Assistance Of Private Sector

October 22, 2013: The ‘gorkhapatra’ of today writes that the manifesto of the NC to be published today says that the NC will make Nepal a prosperous country in 15 years with the support of the private sector for development; the NC also blamed the civil war for its failure in developing the country in the past; and the NC accepted the responsibility for the failure in drafting a new constitution.
The NC proposes the constitutional president, and the executive prime minister to be elected by a parliament, also proposes seven provinces but keeps its door open to discussing 13 provinces; and the NC will adopt the mixed election system currently being used for the elections to a new constitution assembly.
It has committed to complete a constitution of Federal Democratic Republic of Nepal within a year from the day of the completion of the elections to a new constitution assembly.
