No Shortage Of Insane Politicians In Nepal And India

Issue 15, April 14, 2013

By KTM Metro Reporter

April 8, 2013: some of the Nepalese politicians say things so stupid that you question their mental status but recently one of the Indian politicians belonging to the second largest party called Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has shown his stupidity saying dogs and monkeys are the favorites of the legendary Gurkha regiment of the Indian Army.

Member of Legislative Assembly (MLA) of northern Himanchal state of India representing BJP Ravinder Ravi saying dogs and monkeys are the favorites of the Gurkha regiment not only put himself to shame but also his party, too. MLA Ravi also demonstrated his short knowledge of Gurkhas.

For the information of MLA Ravi, Gurkhas don’t eat meat of any other animals except for male goats and chickens. They keep high standard of food ethics. They are world-class warriors. They fought in Falkland, in Iraq, and currently fighting in Afghanistan. They fought against Pakistan whenever India broke out a war with Pakistan.

MLA Ravi should know that eating dogs and monkeys was illegal in India. The man of the stature of MLA Ravi before saying ‘sending Gurkhas to the areas where the dogs and monkeys have been a menace to the people to eat them’ should think twice whether eating dogs and monkeys is legal or not. MLA Ravi is subject to punishment for such illegal things to say, according to the Indian penal code.
