KTM Reporter

September 7, 2017

Kathmandu: Yesterday, the Industry and Investment Promotion Board presided over by the prime minister decided to allow the 63 percent of the Russian investment in the PK Hydropower Plants with the capacity of 30 MW to be built at the estimated cost of NPR 5.10 billions, the news in the ‘artha-section’ of “gorkhapatra” stated today.

The license would be rescinded if the work on the project were not started off within a year. However, it could be extended by the cabinet decision, the news stated.

The hydropower plant will be built on the Likhu River on the border between Ramechhap, Okhaldhunga and Dolakha districts.
