President Stress Ending Remnants of Conflict

April 3, 2010: opening a yoga center set up by yoga guru Ramdev at Waling of the Syangja district in Western Nepal on April 2, 2010, President Dr. Ram Baran Yadav has said that the current need is to end all the remnants of conflict and institutionalize the republic, complete the peace process and promulgate a new constitution following the aspirations of the Nepalis shown in the people’s movement. The president also has warned of the country moving back if the ethnic conflict occurs.

After the opening of the yoga center, yoga guru Ramdev has said that Nepal would be prosperous if it develops valuable herbs found elsewhere in the country; however, Nepal has more alcoholic beverage factories than medicine factories.
