Nepalese Political Leaders Committed Dual Citizenships To NRNs

October 23, 2013: at the end of the sixth world conference of Non-Resident Nepali Association (NRNA) in Kathmandu yesterday, Nepalese political leaders said that they are committed to provided Non-Resident Nepalis with dual citizenships; and they said that they have reached a consensus on this matter, according to the news in the ‘gorkhapatra’ of today.

 

The sixth world conference of Non-Resident Nepali Association (NRNA) in Kathmandu has passed 14-point declaration, and ended the conference yesterday. Non-Resident Nepali Association, Government of Nepal, and Federation of Nepal Chambers of Commerce and Industry have jointly held the world conference in Nepal on the occasion of the tenth anniversary of the establishment of the Non-Resident Nepali Association.

 

According to the RSS news posted on the ‘gorkhapatraonline.com’, a team of the NRNs met with Chairman of UCPN-Maoist Prachanda at the Parisdanda central office of the party yesterday. During the meeting, Chairman Prachanda has said that the role of Non-Resident Nepalis (NRNs) is very important in making the upcoming elections to a new constituent assembly (CA) successful. "Making the country prosperous and people wealthy is the top priority of my party," said Chairman Prachanda
