CPN-UML Holding A Mass Rally In Kathmandu

Issue 11, March 11, 2012

By KTM Metro Reporter

March 5, 2012: the CPN-UML has held a mass rally at Tundikhel in Kathmandu yesterday to announce the opening of the National Representatives’ Council (NRC) meeting. If you believe in the face value of what they have said at the mass rally they have resolved the political bickering in their party but the reality has been far different from what they have said.

Chairman of CPN-UML Jhalanath Khanal has said that his party has ended the leader-wise factions developed after the Eighth General Convention in which Jhalanath Khanal has defeated KP Oli in the election to the chairman of the party.

However, the reality is quite different from what they say. Each leader has his favorites that form a group of cadres. Each leader maintains such group and mobilizes it whenever any one of the leaders needs to show his muscle power.

These leaders have publicly said that they have finished off the infighting in the party but they have started off fighting even before they have left the platform on which they have stood to speak.

They have been very smart to say what other leaders need to do, and even predict what would happen if other political leaders do what they think is need to do but they never do what any sincere political leaders need to do. Preaching is very easy but doing is not so easy. These smart guys don’t understand even such a simple thing.
