Be Sure Constitution Will Be On Target

April 7, 2010: speaking at a function in Kathmandu, Chairman of the Constituent Assembly Subash Nemwang has said that a new constitution will be promulgated on time in other words May 28, 2010. He has said that all Nepalese political leaders know that without the consensus politics, Nepal will not be in peace, and will not have a new constitution. So, Mr. Nemwang is sure that they will work out consensus politics and will promulgate a new constitution within the deadline.
Leaders have shown their unity whenever need arises even when they disbelieve each other and have grudge against each other; so, they will unit again to complete the peace process and promulgate a new constitution; two-third majority is required for promulgating a new constitution; there is no way other than the consensus politics for promulgating a new constitution, Mr Nemwang has said.
Concerning the regressive force trying to raise its head, Mr. Nemwang has said that any force trying to go against federalism, republic and positive development will meet its end ultimately.
