BY KTM Metro Reporter

June 15, 2011: NC leaders have been insisting on presenting the budget for FY 2012 only after completion of the peace process that takes some time according to the people involved in the peace process.

Deputy Prime Minister Bharat Mohan Adhikari holding the portfolio of Finance and another Deputy Prime Minister Krishna Bahadur Mahara holding the portfolio of Home have met with NC President Sushil koirala at his residence in Kathmandu asking him for his cooperation on allowing the government to present the budget for FY 2012 at the Legislature-Parliament, ‘The Rising Nepal’ of today writes.

President of NC Sushil Koirala has said that the NC would allow the government to present the budget for FY 2012 if the peace process would move in a concrete manner but his party has doubts about the completion of the peace process; however, Koirala has said that his party’s stand on permitting the government to submit the budget would be clear only after June 19, as the Army Integration Special Committee (AISC) has already set the number and modality of the integration of the Maoist combatants into the state security forces by that date, ‘The Rising Nepal’ writes quoting sources.
