Hearing On The Case Against President

Issue 14, April 04, 2010

By KTM Metro Reporter in Kathmandu

March 31, 2010: the hearing the bench of Justices Damodar Prasad Sharma and Rajendra Prasad Koirala of the Supreme Court of Nepal started off on March 15, 2010 on the case against the President directly writing a letter to the then army chief is going to complete on Wednesday, March 31, 2010, and the bench is expected to give their ruling on it in the coming week according to the news published in the state-run newspaper ‘Gorkhapatra’ of March 31, 2010.

Whatever the ruling the bench of the two justices will be, would not affect the current political deadlock, as it has been the too late verdict of the Supreme Court of Nepal on the nationally important case. If the Supreme Court has had acted on this case smartly and has given the verdict even after a month of the case filing, the political course would have been different from the current one.
