Land Tax and Registration Official Released On Bail

September 5, 2013: the Special Court has demanded the deposit of Rs 2.9 million to release the Land Tax and Registration officer SureshKumar Thapalyia on bail, according to the news in ‘gorkhapatra’ of today.
Commission on Investigation into Abuse of Authority (CIAA) has filed a case at the Special Court charging SureshKumar Thapalyia with transferring the public land into the name of an individual causing the loss of Rs 2.9 million to the nation.
Thapalyia was released on bail after he made the deposit of that amount.
