Perpetrators Of Murder Of Former Lawmaker Haq

July 9, 2013: three people including his wife and daughter involved in the murder of former independent lawmaker Sadrul Miya Haq were sent to the judicial custody in Rajbiraj, Siraha.
A single-bench of justice of Kiran Shiwakoti of the Rajbiraj District Court ordered the accused to be sent to the jail. Three accused: Nurjanha, wife of deceased Haq, daughter Rubeda and her boyfriend Abdul Rauf were sent to jail.
A month ago, the Central Investigation Bureau (CIB) of Nepal Police had disclosed the involvement of the family members in the killing of Haq. In the murder of Haq, two other accused Ailun Sekh of Chaturi-2 of Siraha district and Jamirul Sekh of Lahan were still on the run. Haq was murdered at his petrol pump house at Kalayanpur-2 in Saptari on May 20, 2013.
